CrossCurrent

CrossCurrent is an eight-week Christ-centered support group for men and women seeking hope in their sexuality and relationships. It is ideal for seekers, nominal believers, and Christians who desire to pursue healing in their sexuality. CrossCurrent provides a safe, confidential environment for men and women to share honestly in a small group setting. The group involves worship and various teachings including God's unfailing love, the true and false self in regards to one's sexuality, confession of sin, and loving others. We also incorporate healing prayer in both the large and small group segment of each meeting.

The group has helped many participants begin to identify their areas of true need. It also challenges them to examine their sexuality through the truth and hope found in Jesus. Healing has occurred for many through identification of needs and healing prayer, as well as through choosing to draw closer to the Lord and to others in the body of Christ.

Context for Crosscurrent
This series is an excellent group format for churches and ministries that want to reach out to the sexually and relationally broken who aren't yet ready for the weightiness of Living Waters. It also works well for those who already run a Living Waters group, but who need an alternative for those seeking answers now.
